Christmas Dining Room Table

REQUIRED INGREDIENTS

  • Oil Spray

  • 1 Package Crescent Roll Dough (simple: 6 slices of hearty bread)

  • 12 Eggs

  • 4 oz. Half & Half Cream

  • 8 oz. Shredded Cheese

  • 1-2 tsp. 8th Wonder Spice Blend (depending on zestiness)

  • 1 tsp. Salt

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS TO CHOOSE FROM

  • 8 oz. Meat (sliced sausage, diced ham, chopped bacon)

  • 1 medium Onion (diced)

  • 1 Pack of Mushrooms - 8 oz. (diced)

  • 1 Bag Baby Spinach (sliced)

  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes (drained)

  • 1 Block Cream Cheese - 8 oz. (1/2" cubed)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray oil on a 13" x 9" baking dish, and set aside.

  2. In a large pot, cook meat on stovetop.

  3. In the meat drippings, saute onions until translucent and golden.

  4. Add in additional veggies: mushrooms, spinach, and/or tomatoes. Cook until most of the moisture has evaporated, and then remove from heat.

  5. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk 12 eggs. Add half & half cream, whisking on high speed.

  6. Sprinkle in 8th Wonder Spice Blend and salt to eggs-cream combination. Mix and set aside.

  7. Open package of crescent roll dough. Lay triangles across the bottom of the oiled 13" x 9" baking dish until entire bottom is covered. (If using bread, line up slices similarly.)

  8. Take cubed cream cheese and disperse evenly over crescent roll base.

  9. Next, scoop the meat and veggie combination from your pot on top.

  10. From your mixing bowl, pour the eggs-cream combination evenly over the top.

  11. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top of your casserole.

  12. Finish by sprinkling a dash of 8th Wonder Spice Blend over the top of the casserole.

  13. NOTE: If preparing ahead of time, cover casserole with foil and refrigerate/freeze until ready to cook. If frozen, an additional 10 minutes of cooking time may be necessary.

  14. Bake on the bottom rack of the oven for about 40 minutes, until eggs appear fully cooked.

  15. Once finished cooking, remove from oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. ENJOY!
